The purpose of this article is to provide you with basic bodybuilding tips that can help you build up muscle and obtain the ripped physique that will make you unique and different from other people. On their own these body building tips will not work but if you can combine as many as possible into your training regime then you will see a massive difference in how quickly you build up muscle and the size of your physique.
For me, the first and primary tip when it comes to muscle building is that there are 3 crucial variables that must be considered at every stage of your programme to build muscle and become bulky. Which are Training, Diet and recovery. If you include these three variables in the right way, the consistent muscle building and transformation of your body is sure to follow. With this in mind, the following are some sure to work tips for your body building.
- Proteins in adequate amounts must be consumed. Target a ratio of 2g of Protein for every kilogram of body weight. Foods such as Chicken, Turkey, Fish, Nuts and Whey can provide you with your necessary Proteins.
- Take in sufficient calories on a daily basis in order to your muscle growth. You can arrive at your required figure quickly by multiplying your body weight in pounds into 15. For example a man weighing in at 180lbs would require a calorie intake of 3000 daily as per this calculation.
- Eat regularly and consistently. Eating 5-6 meals a day spaced by 2-3hour intervals will help keep your muscles pumped and avoid a catabolic state.
- The big compound movements, namely squats, deadlifts, presses, pullups, rows and dips should make up 80% of your workout.
- Make sure you train to muscular failure on each set`Ensure that you reach muscular failure on every set.
- Make a plan and follow it with regular records of your workouts so as to be able to evaluate your progress.
- Alter your workouts regularly and try different systems of training.
- Regularly undertake stretching of your muscles in order to avoid injury.
- Try to allow yourself a minimum of 8 hours sleep every night.
- After 12-16 weeks of training, allow your body a full week of rest for it to recover.
